Ingredients
1poundlean ground turkey
1clovegarlic
1handful baby spinach
1/2 cupchopped onions
1tbspgarlic salt
1tbspItalian seasoning
1tspblack pepper
2tbspground cumin
15ozcan of crushed tomato
26ozjar of marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce
16 ozcan of kidney beans (water drained)
Instructions
In a food processor pulse the spinach and garlic until minced. Transfer to a large sauce pan.
Turn heat on to medium high for the large sauce pan. Add the ground turkey and onion with the spinach and garlic. Add all seasonings. Break ground turkey apart while it's cooking with a wooden spoon until the turkey is browned and cooked (7-10 minutes.) Drain excess fat from the pan.
Add diced tomatoes, beans and marinara sauce. Stir the ingredients. Bring the sauce pan to a broil, cover and reduce heat to simmering for 5 minutes.
Serve in a bowl. Optional: top with sour creme, sharp cheddar cheese and diced chives.
