How To Make a Halloween Charcuterie Board

How To Make a Halloween Charcuterie Board post thumbnail image

Hi friends! Halloween is a little over a week away so I’m here to show you how to make a Halloween Charcuterie Board. Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day so we made it a breakfast board. This is a fun, relatively easy breakfast idea that everyone in the family is sure to love.

The main things you’ll need to make this charcuterie board are Halloween-themed mini waffle makers. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable they were . I got my mini spider web & mini skeleton head waffle makers from Bed Bath & Beyond for just $7.99 each!

Let’s get right into it! Here’s a list of what you need to make a Halloween Charcuterie Board.

List for Halloween Breakfast Board:

  • a 20X30 wooden board
  • a 6 inch iron skillet
  • egg over easy
  • a pumpkin, skeleton and spider web mini waffle makers…. got ours from
  • bacon
  • berries (blueberries, strawberries or blackberries would be perfect)
  • grapes
  • tangerines and celery sticks for pumpkin-shaped tangerines.
  • store-bought fall colored cookies
  • candy eyes

Directions:

  • Prepare your waffle mix and make them in a pumpkin-shaped waffle maker.
  • In a 6-inch-skillet, fry an egg over easy.
  • Arrange your waffles starting from the right top-hand corner going diagonally across the board.
  • I then peeled the tangerines and placed thinly sliced celery sticks as the stem to make pumpkins out of them. I arranged the “pumpkins” along side the waffles.
  • Next I arranged a stem of grapes along the waffles and added candy eyes to a few places o the grapes,
  • I made one more row of tangerines next to the grapes.
  • Fill in any gaps of your board with store-bought fall colored cookies.

Wow, that’s an AMAZING breakfast board! As for the waffle recipe, everything looks solid. We only use half a tablespoon of vanilla extract, though, since ours is a bit stronger. But love it, Portia!
