Great news friends-
This past week I was featured on Fox 5 sharing about making mealtime memorable through food art. This meant so much to me as it’s always been a dream of mine to share my recipes on television. You can watch the full interview here.
I grew up having my grandmother and mom in the kitchen, so I always wanted that to be part of my story. I love that it allows me to spend time with my kids in the kitchen that is fun for the whole family. During this interview, I was able to pay tribute to my grandmother and mom for passing down their recipes and legacy of using food to create beautiful traditions.
To add to the fun, this was a little secret I was excited to surprise my kids with. I gathered my kids to sit and watch television but little did they know I was up next on the news. You can check out their proud reaction to seeing mom on the big screen in my reel here.
It was such a fun and memorable experience to be featured on fox 5 news and if there is one takeaway it would be, food art is for everyone. “If you have a mini waffle maker or a cookie cooker, you’d be surprised with the amazing things that you can do. “
And it's really not about perfection, it's about joy.
If you want to give food art a try, check out my blog post How to Make Pancake People for a fun way to make breakfast time extra special for the kids.
My little girl would love this! I’m going to have to order some cookie cutters so I can try some of these ideas out.
