My family and I are having major vacation withdrawals as we’ve just returned from one of the most magical experiences ever!! Disney Parks & Disney Cruiseline hosted our family to the Disney Creators Celebration during the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company!

This week-long festivity culminated with our family’s very first Disney Cruise! Talk about a dream come true! I have so much to share about the experience, but let’s start where the adventure began, inside the Disney Parks with some of the latest attractions at Disneyland!

Here are some of the Creators Celebration highlights:

Check-in!

Once we checked in, we headed to the welcome reception hosted in the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion inside of the Disneyland Hotel. That’s where I received my media credentials, gifts from Disney partners as well as had the opportunity to snack on small bites, meet and greet with other creators and take photographs at the glamour Disney 100 backdrop.

Our Room

Next, we headed to our room and felt like we were moving in! As soon as we walked in, the TV was lit up, welcoming the Gorman Family. Our room had 2 queen beds, and the couch pulled out, so our room comfortably slept 5.

There were so many magical touches, like the famous lamp that sings, “A dream is a wish your heart makes,” and the headboard that lights up with fireworks.

You can watch the full tour on my Instagram reel here!

It felt like I was a character in The Great Gatsby with all of the parties that Disney put together for us! We kicked it off with the Platinum Party on Day 1. It’s no secret that Disney goes all out for everything, but this event was more than I could have dreamed. There was so much sparkle & creativity in the room that the whole family had so much fun. We had personal meet & greets with our favorite Disney characters, an amazing spread of food and drinks and the opportunity to network with the other invited families for this special occasion.

For the next party, I had to call in our babysitter so we could have a much-needed parent’s night out! The Disney Creator’s Celebration included a night with a Coachella-vibe Private Party on the Pixar Pier after hours! You can watch a recap of our night out. My husband and I danced the night away and even got our photos painted. We got to meet some Disney Pixar characters and the cast of Cruel Summer with Freeform! The whole day was filled with so many firsts and memories that I will remember forever.

On day 3, we were invited to have breakfast with Princess Tiana and her friends before parks opened to the public. With a call-time of 6:15am, our family dressed in our Mardi Grass best and marched with the Creator Celebration for the memorable festivity. Join the excitement by watching my reelWe also got to experience some of the latest attractions at Disneyland and an extraordinary grand opening of one of our favorite places!

Here are 3 things you don't want to miss on your next Disney visit:

Magic Happens Parade

As if the Disney100 celebration was not magical enough, the Magic Happens Parade has made a grand return! You can catch some of your favorite characters, which include Mickey Mouse, Moana, Coco’s Miguel, and Frozen’s Anna and Elsa, in this latest attractions at Disneyland. This is definitely one show you want to attend! While it’s only 20 minutes, it’s sure to pull on your heartstrings with all the Disney nostalgia from your childhood and makes for the perfect park break.

TIP: I recommend grabbing a spot where the benches are near “Small World” for an amazing place to sit and see the parade 30 minutes prior.

Toontown has Reopened!

The moment we have all been waiting for: Toontown reopened! What makes this latest attractions at Disneyland  even more special is the environment and experiences were designed with our senses in mind, such as what we see, hear, and feel. There is so much to experience, like Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard, which has a sound garden for kids to enjoy while they climb and play. There is also a beautiful fountain and many green spaces where you can sit and relax while you enjoy all of Toontown’s vibrant and whimsical offerings. And you can’t forget the newest attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway! There are no age or height restrictions which means the whole family can enjoy it.

World of Color- One

There is a new World of Color show at Pixar Pier! World of Color- ONE is one of the latest attractions at Disneyland which includes some fan-favorite films like The Lion KingMoanaSoulStar Wars, and The Avengers. I am always blown away by the storytelling and special effects that the show has to offer.

Reminder!
