So I just had the most HEART-felt Valentine’s Day brunch with my family! I asked my husband to take all three kids to the park to give me time to make a LOVEly feast. The menu was adorable as well as kid-friendly! It included: pink heart-waffles on a stick, heart pancakes, heart-shaped bacon, bananas and Lucky Charms of course! I promise you I did not coach Blake for his response to all this which was, “Mommy I don’t like it- I love it”!!!! That right there is worth all the time and effort it took to put this breakfast together for my family!
Let’s start with these adorable and kid-friendly waffles. You can find my pancake recipe in my blog post, “STACKED WITH LOVE.” I use this same recipe to make waffles!
The article also shows you how to make the heart-shaped pancakes on the griddle. As for this post, we are going to focus on how I made the waffles.
HEART-SHAPED WAFFLES ON A STICK.
I had shared with you guys that I am partnering with Amazon in their Influencer Program where I share my awesome finds! I got my heart waffle maker from Amazon! You can shop the waffle maker in my online store HERE ! And the best part is it’s less than $15! It’s also Prime which means you can still get it in time for Valentine’s Day.
DIRECTIONS
I added one drop of pink food coloring to 1 cup of waffle mix and stirred it up in a glass Pyrex measuring cup. I then poured the batter into the waffle maker and placed a Popsicle stick down in the middle of the waffle maker and closed the lid. The waffles were ready in less than a minute.
The pancakes and waffles were yummy and relatively easy to make. You could always use store-bought waffle mix if you don’t feel like making them homemade! But I promise you that you’ll love my pancake RECIPE . My mother gave it to me. If you try any of the ideas from this brunch could you please tag me on Instagram?! Ok- have an awesome weekend y’all!
The waffles are adorable, but not nearly as adorable as those two little guys! What a blessing.
Such a fun and cute idea for Valentines Day! We’re always looking for fun ways to celebrate the holidays without it always being about gifts, so this is perfect!

Awe! It looks like your little valentines loved these! Such a cute idea for the kiddos.
I love this idea! Is it bad that I’d have these for breakfast and am nowhere near a kid??
